Sports Broadcaster

Hello there, thank you for visiting my website about my journey as a broadcaster. My name is Daniel Wiitanen. I have been the broadcaster for the Wisconsin Windigo since February 2023. On my website you can find my demo reel, graphics, references, and more!

 

For me sports broadcasting was always what I envisioned myself wanting to do ever since I was little. I always had a passion for hockey. I would stay up late as a child growing up to watch the Detroit Red Wings with my father, and I knew that my true calling in life was to be a hockey broadcaster. 

I work everyday to hone, and improve my craft as a broadcaster. My mantra always has been leave the booth a better broadcaster than you were the previous time you stepped into the booth.

The biggest joy broadcasting has brought to me so far has been all the lasting connections I have made with other broadcasters, players, coaches, fans, and billets.
